Our team delivered a series of structural and scenic builds for The Magic Faraway Tree, working across multiple set environments from workshop through to on-site installation. All elements were approached from a construction-led perspective, with a focus on accuracy, durability, and efficient delivery. Builds combined timber frameworks, CNC-cut components, and steel substructures where required, allowing for consistency in fabrication and reliability on set. Scenic finishes were developed through layered paint systems and controlled surface treatment, ensuring a uniform, camera-ready result across all environments. Alongside this, the builds were designed to support immersive, creative, and engaging spaces that help bring the world of the story to life. Structural requirements, access, and rigging were resolved during early stages of the build, supporting smooth installation and minimising on-site adjustment. Close coordination between workshop and production teams ensured all elements aligned with schedule and performed as required during filming.
